Bicentennial Gala Celebrates Trinity College’s Impact in Hartford

A Bicentennial Gala Saturday, May 11, at the Connecticut Convention Center celebrated the past and looked to the future. The event supported Trinity’s commitment to the city that its founders chose 200 years ago, raising funds for scholarships for Hartford students.

Photos: First Days

Trinity College's 634 new students arrived on campus under leaden skies on August 25. In preparation for the forecasted rain, some toted their belongings in garbage bags while others bundled boxes and mini refrigerators into wheeled bins and into their residence halls.
